I am an Education major at an elite top-15 University and teaching and tutoring are my life-long passions. As a City Year AmeriCorps member, I worked full-time in a Boston Public School as a tutor, delivering high-quality, individualized Math and ELA interventions for 50 hours a week to students in grades 4-8. In high school, I tutored peers for the SAT at a community center, and over the summers I taught creative writing courses at a sleepaway camp. Now, I volunteer at the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet High School in Nashville, TN as a Math tutor, and coach youth sports.
