I graduate from Temple University in December 2017 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Math & Computer Science.

During my undergraduate years, I have enjoyed tutoring classmates and friends in math up to Calculus 3, Java, C and C++! It's a wonderful feeling to help someone see a complex problem or concept in a simple light so that they can thoroughly understand it.

My area of research in robotics and algorithms have also contributed to my tutoring skills. My research involves distributed systems of computing and requires simplifying math concepts, ranging from simple algebra up to and including stochastic modelling , so that small robots with limited processing capacity can solve them. I also lead a team of researchers working on maze solving robots. In these capacities I have learned a lot about mentoring others over a long period, as well as simplifying complex problems.

I am eager to work with students who have a desire to improve their performance. Whether a student is failing a class, or a student is doing well but wants to do even better I want to help them accomplish their goals. Seeing my students succeed gives me great pleasure and I am patient in my approach while catering my style to the specific challenges of each student. I combine a laid-back demeanor with a hard work ethic. I will be available at all times between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. to respond to my students queries.

It is important for students to know general learning strategies and I have a firm grasp of multiple note taking styles including but not limited to the Outline method, Cornell method, and Charting method. I am also a practitioner of various memorization techniques to improve memory such as the Method of Loci. Therefore for the students who are interested I teach generalized learning techniques.

To conclude, I want to empower those students I tutor to explore ideas, individual paths, and goals. It is with great excitement that I look forward to tutoring you as you follow your dreams!
