Certified Tutor

During my practical experience in teacher preparation, I have worked one-on-one with kindergartners, first and third graders. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, and am well-versed in best practices of teaching.
I've been cleared to work with students in 3 counties (Hillsborough, Manatee, Polk), that includes fingerprinting and a background check. I also have taught officially for 2 years in grades K-7. Half a year I substituted, one year I taught kindergarten, half a year I taught in a learning center, and one year I was a teacher's aide. Currently, I am in my second year teaching second-grade reading. I hope my experiences qualify me for helping and connecting with students in a one-on-one manner.
