Certified Tutor

I first discovered tutoring in my sophomore year in high school through a peer to peer mathematics program through a very good teacher of mine, who then became my supervisor 10 years later in the mathematics department. I continued to tutor in college and discovered that sharing my knowledge with others came natural and fulfilling to me, especially in the subject of mathematics. I have learned to think of topics in many ways and it is the fluidity with studying and learning that I hope to perfect.

I am a certified teacher, currently teaching pre-algebra and algebra at a gifted & talent school. I have also taught and tutored Geometry, Algebra 2, Middle School Math, Elementary Math, SHSAT, SAT Math, and GED Prep for adults.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy fitness, basketball and cooking. I like to keep my mind stimulated by learning something new every day as well as improving my health and body.
