Madison: Bradenton tutor
Certified Tutor
I moved to Las Vegas to attend UNLV about one year ago. I am in between junior and senior year and will be getting a criminal justice degree! I am fortunate to have taken a broad spectrum of different classes at the college level. My strongest for tutoring purposes are math, history, and writing (criminal justice classes are my strongest but I don't anticipate anyone reaching out for assistance in that area).
In my spare time, I love being around and working with animals, traveling, hiking, swimming, painting, drawing, sculpture, reading, and doing anything with family. The environment in the Vegas Valley is significantly different than my small town in Washington, so I don't do as much wilderness exploration or see my family, since I moved here solo!
I have 3 younger brothers. They are between the ages of 1 and 14, so I have the privilege of helping the 14 year old with his schoolwork whenever necessary. Aside from that, I have been a part of numerous study groups, one I actually started last semester for political science.
Conclusively, I am rarely in a bad mood, and encourage family to be present during our sessions if desired! I do not pretend that I know everything, and will emphasize the importance of learning how to find information. I am very hands on and aim to bring joy and fun to every learning situation. I am open to working with any age, capping at first year college students. I look forward to engaging with you and having successful tutor sessions!
