Hello! I am currently a Medical Student at Paul L Foster School of Medicine. I have completed my masters in Medical Sciences at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth and an undergraduate BS in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University. At Texas A&M University, I was a student part of the University Honors Program and have consistently been on the Dean's List.
I have tutored and mentored mathematics in the past for high school students. I am a distinguished AP Scholar. I've spent many years on Mathematics, Number Sense, and Calculator UIL teams and I have won multiple awards at the school, local, district, regional and even state level. I have attained a perfect score on SAT Math, ACT Math and a 780 on the SAT Math II Subject Test. I have taken up to Calculus III and am comfortable tutoring up to high school Algebra II. I am also comfortable with teaching material for any subject for students up until the high school level, not just mathematics. I was in the top 1% of one of my previous high schools. I enjoy teaching students and helping people learn. I believe that knowledge is essential and I would love to serve as a resource, mentor, tutor and friend to those whom I serve. I enjoy meeting people, both young and old and I am great with children!

What is your teaching philosophy?
I am incredibly hands-on. I think that the best way to learn something new is to practice with various examples.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
In a first session, I want to find out more about the student. I want to figure out how the student learns best as well as the student's strengths and weaknesses.
