Chris: Montreal tutor
Certified Tutor
I am a current Second-Year at the University of Virginia. I enjoy working with students on test prep, specifically SAT or other standardized test prep. I understand how crucial a good tutor is to high achievement. Standardized tests are crucial to college applications, and I know the ins and outs of many of these tests, especially the SAT. I am most passionate about literature and writing, which are also my favorite subjects to teach. I have tutored several students of varying ages in the past. I have won numerous awards for academic achievement, beginning with acceptance into the competitive Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth program in middle school and, most recently, with an AP Scholar with Distinction Award. Outside of academia, I am interested in following sports, reading, and writing both for publishing and pleasure.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe that no question should go unanswered in a learning environment. Comprehensive investigation of an issue is the only way to understand it.
