I love tutoring and am glad to get the chance to play a role in the education of so many different students! Realizing the diverse range of learning styles, I approach sessions with careful patience and perceptiveness, accommodating each individual students' needs and ensuring that I've found a way of explaining things that works for them.
I'm certified as a tutor through Cuesta College and worked there as a one one one tutor for their DSPS department. Currentlty I am a student at Mills College. I am experienced with students of all ages and subjects, though the humanities are my greatest strength.
Often times students are just lacking a background in academic structure and organization, so I put a lot of overall emphasis on helpful organizational habits, study tactics, paper writing, test prep, etc.
