Hello! My name is Rachel and I'm a sophomore at the University of Oregon School of Journalism and Communications. I have a lot of experience teaching kids of all ages as well as three younger siblings of my own. I taught swim lessons at the YMCA for 2 years. I love watching others succeed and excel at what they practice. My teaching style is fun, and practice-practice-practice. I believe that anything can be fun (even math) if you make it that way.

To keep a student motivated, I would give them consistent and enthusiastic encouragement. If the student needed a break, then we would take a break and do something fun, like play Hot Lava or tempt them with stickers.
