Hello! My name is Jimeng and I am a Mandarin Chinese tutor. I am a native Chinese speaker. I love teaching and helping others, and I believe that is best done by being kind, confident, and patient with every student. I began teaching teaching while I was in grad school.

In Beijing, I worked as a Traditional Chinese pharmacist. This involved lots of work with prescriptions and patients, but also with research and paperwork. While obtaining my Master of Medicine from China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, I did postgraduate work in English and Medical research methods. Much of my work hinges on communication with others. Being bilingual has opened many doors for me, and I hope to share my passion for languages with others by creating fun and accessible lessons that incorporate students' interests.
