In high school I gained tutoring experience reading with first grade students weekly for two years. Several of the students I read with improved significantly over the course of each school year. In college I worked as a tutor for three years and tutored several students in math and science subjects.
I performed at a high academic level throughout high school and college. My high school GPA was 4.2/4.0 and my college GPA is 3.76/4.0. Additionally, I earned a composite score of 35 on the ACT. I really enjoy math and science and I understand the subjects well. I earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arizona and I currently work as an engineer. I enjoy working with students and helping them understand difficult concepts. I am very comfortable with and have experience with virtual tutoring.
