I have been teaching all over the world for over 25 years, in seven different countries. I have taught students from 3 to 82. everyone is different and by getting to know them, I can find the way to help them learn. The student is the main concern. I work as the facilitator in their learning. I am firm but very warm hearted. I love teaching. I want to share my knowledge with others and always look forward to the growth my students experience.

What is your teaching philosophy?
My teaching philosophy is to be firm but have fun. All students learn in different ways, and I try every way of learning to help the students grasp the concept.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Get to know the students, and let them get to know me. Set the objectives and ask questions.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
Encourage them to want to learn more.
How would you help a student stay motivated?
Encourage and praise if they try. If they have a hard time, help them work it out.
If a student has difficulty learning a skill or concept, what would you do?
Try different methods and ways to get it.
How do you help students who are struggling with reading comprehension?
Reading things they are interested in. Show them how to find the answers in different ways.
What strategies have you found to be most successful when you start to work with a student?
The students should know that it is serious, but it can be fun.
How would you help a student get excited/engaged with a subject that they are struggling in?
Find and make a game; show them real-life examples of the subject.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
Ask questions, get them to talk about it, play a game, and teach me or another student.
How do you build a student's confidence in a subject?
Praise and encourage them as they are figuring it out. Don't tell them they are wrong; suggest another way that may help.
How do you evaluate a student's needs?
Ask questions and talk to the students.
How do you adapt your tutoring to the student's needs?
By talking to the student or parents to figure out the needs. Try different methods.
What types of materials do you typically use during a tutoring session?
I use books, work sheets, and a computer.
