What might you do in a typical first session with a student?

I will create a positive first impression with the right environment that will get the student in a learning mood towards great success. I will introduce myself and allow the student to do the same with a warm welcome. Tell the student about my background and explain why I love tutoring algebra 1 and 2. I will present the lesson interestingly and with fun. Get the student involved by asking some questions and at the end of the lesson, give the student homework. Express appreciation and expect to meet again for another great lesson.
