Certified Tutor

I am a Hunter College CUNY honors graduate living in New York City, where I first started tutoring English and ESL skills at the Hunter College Reading/Writing Center.

I also work for the DOE as a substitute teacher in New York City public, private, and charter schools, teaching all grades and subjects during the school year. In the Summer, I've taught classes in Summer Camps all over Brooklyn, so I've definitely run the spectrum of youth education in New York City!

In my junior and senior years of college, I won English Department awards for playwriting and essaywriting, and my plays have been read and performed in theater spaces, including at the Thespis Theater Festival 2013. I also perform in Childrens' Musical Theater with the group FunikiJam! World Music (www.funikijam.com).

I enjoy tutoring because I get to learn at the same time that I teach! Please contact me to setup an appointment.
