I love to learn. I thrive both on knowledge gained from a classroom setting and gained from more modern methods (read: YouTube, podcasts, Wikipedia) as well as from experience. I also believe that being a knowledgeable but teachable is one of the best traits a person can have. Those beliefs are why I am here. I want to help people succeed in the classroom. As I help others do that, I know I will continue learning and growing as well.
Aside from all this, I have many other passions and interests. I am a runner, and I love to be outside. I’ve tried my hand at both mountain biking and Frisbee golfing; while I enjoy both, I am not particularly good at either. I also read a fair amount and spend a lot of time with my family. Building strong relationships is of utmost importance to me, as strong positive relationships both give value to people and enable people to make a difference in the world.
I hope that I am able to pair my passions with my strengths to help others learn and be ultimately successful people.
