Certified Tutor

I am currently finishing a Master's Degree program at Georgetown University, in Physiology and Biophysics. While I am schooled in the sciences, I have a passion for the humanities, and love tutoring students in writing, critical thinking, and reading comprehension.

My tutoring style is informal, as I believe the best way to motivate students is through conversation, rather than strict lecturing. Instead of asking students to memorize facts, I want to help them develop passion for the subjects through real-world application, and through a deep understanding of important concepts. I also like to use plenty of practice problems, to help students apply their knowledge and track their progress.

In my free time, I like to read, listen to podcasts, play cello, and cook. I look forward to meeting you, and helping you reach your academic goals!
