What is your teaching philosophy?
Practicing what you learn in real life situations is a great way to test your knowledge. Also, you cannot be afraid to make mistakes, because with mistakes, we become even more skilled if we choose to learn from them instead of being ashamed. Learning is also a collaboration between the teacher and student. The teacher does not play a more important than the student. It is a joint effort.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would collaborate with the student and see what the student's interests were, and what would be the best way to teach them. It is important to know that every student is different and may have a different way of thinking.
