I have a passion for education and enjoy working with ideas until I deeply understand them. Once I do, I find even more joy in helping others achieve the same understanding by asking guiding questions and explaining things simply. My goal is to help students reach their full potential and develop enthusiasm for lifelong learning.
As an engineer, math and science are my strongest subjects. However, I am also an avid reader and enjoy various subjects such as psychology, sociology, philosophy, and business.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I teach by asking guiding questions and explaining concepts in the simplest possible manner in order to help the student gain a true understanding of the subject matter. Having been in the student’s position, I always remain empathetic, positive, and encouraging.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
Ask the student what they are struggling with and discuss the concepts first. Then work though practice problems step-by-step.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
By fostering curiosity, intrinsic motivation, persistence, and a positive attitude.
What techniques would you use to be sure that a student understands the material?
By asking them questions and completing problems independently.
