I feel very passionate about teaching mathematics! In fact, I can't imagine myself teaching any other subject. I have been teaching math for over 20 years now, and have been doing private tutoring during those years as well. I believe I have the ability to take difficult topics and explain them in very easy to understand manner, and I can also reteach topics in a number of other ways. It is my goal for each one of my students to thoroughly understand the topics we study together, and I won't stop until they do.

When I am not teaching or tutoring, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 26 years, digital scrapbooking or visiting our daughters at college. We have a junior at Florida State University, majoring in Finance. We also have a freshman at The University of Iowa. Why so far from home? She's on an athletic scholarship to play volleyball there. She is majoring in Applied Mathematics. Both girls are in fields that deal heavily in numbers; I guess they got their math skills from me!
