I believe in the power of education to change the world. I grew up in a beautiful land considered a "third" world country, however, I was very lucky to have wonderful teachers who motivated me to always strive for the best. Since I was a teenager, I got the opportunity to work in education and I know how it can change lives. I started in the teaching field by educating adults in literacy skills in Spanish, my native language, and I have continued by teaching English as a second language at all levels, I have been blessed with the chance to get an education not only in the country I was born but also here in the USA, thanks to hard-won scholarships. Now, the time is right to work with people who want to learn Spanish. I believe everybody has the abillity to learn another language, specially when they have the will and the right place to do that.
