I believe in good education. Not only good education, I also believe in excellence in performance. Education is important, but it is also important that a student is given a fair chance to progress.
As one of eight children, I was taught that this life was our time to perform and help those along our way. Every class I take has become a time where I can increase my knowledge and perform even better. Although I have graduated from high school as valedictorian, I still look for opportunities to grow and help those around me. I am still finding new interests and building who I am. Right now I am currently studying at Brigham Young University with the high hopes and aspirations of being a business major. I enjoy being outdoors, hiking, biking, running, swimming, ect. I like to go on adventures. I like to live life.
I believe that I have the ability to encourage people to do well, and as a tutor, I want to help students with their education. I want to help them have a fair chance to progress. I want to work with the students and help them understand the principles that are being taught to them instead of taking over their assignments and doing them myself. In essence, I'm here to help.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe students should be taught the same general principles, but they should be taught in a way that each individual understands the concepts on their own personal comprehension level.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
During the first session, I will give the student time to explain their difficulties with the subject of learning. I will have a series of questions to gauge what level of comprehension the student has so that I can help them progress in their performance in further sessions. I want to make sure that I am helping the students with the fields of study which are difficult for them instead of monotonously repeating principles they already understand.
