I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, Romania. At the age of 12 I moved to the States, Atlanta, Georgia to be exact, with my parents and two sisters, where we not only had to quickly learn English, but southern English! Needless to say, the first few years were not smooth sailing! I fell in love with French language, culture, history and literature during my sophomore year in high school. Ever since then, I have continued my foreign language education.

I attended Georgia State University where I received both my BA and MA in French literature, culture and studies. It has been a great journey getting where I am today, travelling to wonderful countries and discovering my passion for French. I participated in a 5-week study abroad program in France, right in the heart of the many beautiful castles of the Loire Valley. It was one of the greatest experiences of my life, and I would recommend it to anyone!

When I'm not busy homeschooling my 5th grader, baking vegan goodies, or tutoring, I like to snowboard, play volleyball, spend time with my family and friends, and read French literature and history.
