Certified Tutor
I am an aspiring author, with a love for teaching and helping students. I am a huge fan of Sci Fi and fantasy books and movies. I am currently attending the University of Washington Tacoma campus, with a major in history and minor in education. I've helped with students at the middle school level, namely language lrts and mathematics for several years now, and I enjoy meeting new students with an ambition to learn.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Diligence is the key to learning anything
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
I would first like to get to know the student, personal interests and ambitions, and try to establish a personal connection based on commonalities.
How can you help a student become an independent learner?
The best way to become an independent learner is to figure out how best to learn. Everyone learns differently, with different strategies to make things stick, and in order to find such methods, we must explore everything that works and doesn't work.
