Dee
Certified Tutor
As an educator, I have been awarded the degree of Master of Science from Touro College in General and Special Education, so I understand the need for academic advisement and instruction in a traditional and nontraditional education environment. I have also experienced, first-hand, the comforting effect of being able to connect with my students and observe their abilities to succeed in life.
During my career as an educator, I have been nominated and received the John LaSalle Teacher's Award. I also have instructed many students in acquiring their General Equivalency Diploma (GED). The joy that teaching brings me is only a small part, but when a student learns, that is the true reward.
These are a few of my quotes used daily in my teaching practice:
Positive Energy=Success
Patience is a virtue!
Learning is Fun!
Prior Preparation Prevent Poor Performance
