Varsha: Justice tutor
Certified Tutor
I earned my Bachelor's in Individualized Study at NYU Gallatin and my Master's in International Education at NYU Steinhardt. I believe in individualized lesson plans for each student. Using the student's learning style (and strengths) can help us work on the weaknesses. I have worked with elementary-school children in classroom settings, for both non-profit organizations and schools. I am patient, thorough, and competent.

What is your teaching philosophy?
Students have different learning styles. A tutor should teach to each student's style and utilize the student's strengths, in order to work on the weaknesses.
What might you do in a typical first session with a student?
We might review practice problems of a variety of difficulty levels, so we can ascertain what types of problems are the most troublesome.
