Certified Tutor
I earned my B.A. from Vassar College, where I studied Linguistics, French and Francophone Studies, Russian Studies, and Mathematics. I have several years' tutoring experience and have also taught as the primary instructor of a yearlong French course.
As a language enthusiast and math and science geek, I am passionate about teaching languages and math. My extensive experience in these fields offers me better insight on how to teach these subjects and helps me effectively address obstacles students may face.
Outside the classroom, I love dancing, playing cello, singing a cappella, and rock climbing. I am always eager to bring my passion and enthusiasm to each lessonI know that just a little zeal on my part can go a long way.

What is your teaching philosophy?
I like to make sure I'm being a dynamic and engaging teacher. I know that just a little extra enthusiasm on my part can go a long way. I also make sure to keep my teaching style fluid--different students have different needs. Tailoring my teaching method to the individual allows me to most effectively address challenges faced by each student.
