Throughout my high school years, I completed many volunteer hours tutoring subjects like chemistry and music to younger students. Then in college, while pursuing my English education degree, I spent three years tutoring college students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia or ADD. I predominantly tutored English courses, but I also helped them with college algebra, public speaking, history, and drama, and would review any paper they had to complete in any subject. I am a great tutor because I am a very patient person--if students are struggling, I do not get frustrated, I simply try a different approach. I understand students have busy and difficult lives, and I give them study tips that aid them in managing their course load.
