Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of Bowie State University. I started as a Math major and have excelled in Math since elementary school. Math continues to be a favorite subject of mine and I try to instill the same level of love and motivation for it in the students that I tutor and mentor. Reading and writing come second to Math. Writing skills and reading are very important to me. I encourage my students to find adventure and fun in both, tapping into their imagination. I excel in most other elementary and middle school subjects as well, including Science. I tutor students of all ages and I teach them how to learn and study according to their age and level of understanding. I am always excited about education and do whatever it takes to make sure the students I tutor feel the same. I enjoy many other things as well. I am very much into the arts. I was an art major in high school. I am an actress, writer, and director; actually writing and directing my first stage production two years ago. I also choreographed several dance pieces in the production, as I have been a dancer for 17 years. I am a singer, singing in two praise teams and a choir. I enjoy rock climbing, volleyball, tennis, and ping pong. I love video games and I am an avid football fan.
