Certified Tutor

My experience includes teaching students at both middle school and high school levels and ranges from teaching students in an alternative program to advanced students in a rigorous early college program. I have also taught English as a second language and high school completion/credit recovery courses. I believe that ALL students can learn and that each student is an individual with their own unique learning style. My teaching style varies with my students, as I tailor my methods to the individual learning styles of my students. Prior to going into teaching, I worked in business management—this experience gives me a unique insight into the business world and allows me to help my students make connections between what they are learning in school and how it applies to their lives.
