I am about to graduate from The New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Previously I received my MD degree from Suez Canal University. Since the beginning of my US experience I have worked as a teacher, adjunct professor, and instructor in a variety of institutes teaching various subjects including anatomy, physiology, histology , biology, pathology, pathophysiology, microbiology, pharmacology, infectious diseases, and more. I also worked as a researcher at Columbia University.

In my journey as a tutor I have taught all levels of students - from developmentally challenged learners all the way to my fellow graduate students. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am most passionate about anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and histology. In my experience helping struggling students preparing for all kind of tests - including standardized tests - I follow a model of starting with the exact level of the student's knowledge and understanding, then by breaking the material down to even a lower level, using visual cues, drawings, mnemonics, and real life examples that the student could relate to, we manage step by step to escalate the level of grasping, understanding and mastering the material.

I am a strong proponent of education, believing it to be absolutely necessary for an improved quality of life. I try to impart this principal to all of my students, just as I was by the chairman of my surgery department in medical school when he shared the following quotes:

I enjoy reading in all aspects of life especially scientific journals that enriches my life, listening to soft or church music, basketball, and watching Sci-Fi/ mythical movies.
