Certified Tutor

As an undergrad at New York University, I am working towards my Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Since graduating from Brooklyn Technical High School, I have tutored high school students in algebra and trigonometry and helped prepare students for the SAT. I am also a Jumpstart Corps Member and spend a few days a week providing preschool children in low income communities support in language, literacy skills, and social-emotional competencies.

While I have experience in a broad range of subjects, my favorite subject to tutor is math because of the systematic methods involved. My job as a tutor is to provide resources for my students and to guide them when they need help. I believe that the best kind of student is one who wants to improve as much as I want to help them. There must be effort from both sides.

In my spare time, I like to knit and do other DIY projects.
