I graduated in 2009 from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts and History of Art and Architecture. I taught in an International Baccalaureate boarding school in northern Thailand for one year after college, and then moved to Shanghai where I lived for three years. I tutored elementary school students in creative writing and English grammar and high school students in US AP History and writing. The work I enjoyed most, however, was mentoring students through their college and university application processes. Whether through SAT tutoring, assisting with essay writing, or lending guidance in other areas of the applications, I found this work incredibly inspiring. My students' academic and personal success is my top priority, and building self-confidence and teaching learning skills are my passions.
