I am a graduate of the University of Michigan - GO BLUE! I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and I have extensive coursework in Communications, Philosophy, and Musicology. I grew up playing just about every sport, but achieved All-Conference Honors for Basketball, Soccer, and Lacrosse. My hobbies include health & fitness, sports, music, creative writing, photography, and more. My experience teaching children began during my grade school years. I taught elementary school kids in order to build community service hours for my college resume. In addition, I have spent several seasons as a summer camp counselor. The most rewarding summers were those working with Hofstra Summer Camp’s special needs children. The idea was to seamlessly integrate the special needs children into typical camp life; I truly believe I learned more than the kids, and that we succeeded with flying colors. I was previously a Corporate Trainer for AT&T Residential Sales. My job there was simply to paint a clear picture and inspire. That is my goal for your children – to not only put the subject matter in their hands in a new and exciting way, but also to teach them how to think. Those who know how to think are empowered far beyond those who only know what to think. Your children will learn that the grass is not greener on the other side…it is greener where you water it!
