Certified Tutor

I am a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry with a minor in Chinese and obtained a teaching licensure in secondary sciences. As a student teacher and a certified science teacher, I have taught both Standard and Honors Chemistry, honors Earth Environmental Science, and AP Environmental Science.

My tutoring experience started when I worked with elementary school students and continued during my high school years and college. I peer tutored a wide variety of subjects, ranging from Chinese to mathematics to sciences. My goals for tutoring are to academically prepare a diverse group of students and ensure scientific literacy. I strongly believe that education is the most important tool in protecting and preserving our future. In my spare time, I like to cook new dishes and play ping pong or tennis.
