I am a physician, I received my Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Dominican College in New York and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA. Following my undergraduate education I went on to attend medical school at Barry University School of Pediatric Medicine where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was named class valedictorian. While attending medical school in addition to my doctorate I also obtained a master's degree in biomedical science. Continuing my medical education I performed a three year surgical residency at a hospital in New Jersey.
Throughout my academic career I have not only possessed a love of learning but of teaching as well. I was a tutor on staff at my medical school as well as a teaching assistant in several subjects including biochemistry, histology and anatomy. It was such a rewarding experience to help my fellow classmates excel in their classes and reach their personal goals.

I am currently tutoring subjects related to the sciences including chemistry, biology, anatomy, and physiology. These are subjects that I am very passionate about and have loved learning since grade school, especially anatomy and physiology. My special interest in these subjects grew from a fascination of how the human body works and actually lead me into my medical career.
In regards to my teaching philosophy and style, it is important that the student and I have an interactive experience. I am not interested in lecturing, I am a great listener and really want to personalize my approach to your individual needs while we work together. Throughout my academic career, I have developed many study techniques and methods. It is with great pleasure I wish to share my knowledge and help my students to achieve success and reach their goals and maybe have a little fun at the same time. In my spare time, I really enjoy playing pool, going to the movies, reading, and cooking.
