I am a New York transplant by way of San Francisco, where I studied Integrative Biology & Public Health at U.C. Berkeley (Go Bears!!) I graduated in May 2014 with my MPH in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Columbia's Mailman School of Public, and there I had the tremendous opportunity to be a lead graduate teaching assistant for several courses, including Qualitative Analysis, Survey Design, Program Planning, and Leadership & Innovation. I enjoy the dynamics of teaching and tutoring, as I work closely to problem solve and bridge learning gaps. I truly believe that with enough patience and diligence, and perhaps some moments of frustration sprinkled in the process, any subject matter can be conquered!
Since I moved to NYC, I have developed a strong passion for photography, and in my spare time I love finding great "hole in the wall" spots to eat, reading legal suspense novels, and playing volleyball.
