Certified Tutor

I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Public Policy at Georgetown University, with an emphasis on education policy. Previously, I worked as an ESL/English teacher in both Incheon, South Korea, and Shanghai, China, where I taught students from ages 3 to 18, and also provided training to the new teachers. One of my favorite courses was the intensive writing course, where students learned about the writing process, from brainstorming and drafting, through revision, and then finally creating a final copy. The class did an excellent job and created both a class newspaper and a magazine of creative stories. I have a strong passion for teaching, and always try to keep my lessons interesting and even fun. In my free time, I enjoy reading non-fiction, running, and building model rockets.
