I am a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a primary focus in Environmental and Structural Engineering. Upon graduation, I moved to Tanzania to pursue a Fulbright Research Grant where I was able to work with community members to help establish a water distribution system for a rural village. After returning, I completed my Masters level coursework at the University of California, Davis in Civil and Environmental Engineering. I have had a variety of tutoring experiences over the course of my studies, ranging from one-on-one tutoring sessions, to group settings through a classroom internship. I am passionate about a lot of subjects including mathematics, physics, and chemistry. I also love literature and writing and can confidently help students practice critical reading and writing skills. In my spare time I enjoy biking, hiking, climbing, exploring, reading, and going to the beach!
