I am a Math Interventionist and have taught Middle school Mathematics for over 5 years. Currently, I am working with grades 3 through 7. When I am explaining a mathematical concept to my students or teaching steps for solving a problem, it is important for me that students understand why we are doing what what we are doing. Teaching for understanding is my priority. I also take into consideration students’ learning styles and use different ways to deliver my lessons.

I graduated with a Masters of Science in Geography and Education from St-Petersburg State University in Russia. I love to travel and learn about different cultures. I also like reading and being outdoors.
