Certified Tutor

I am currently an undergraduate student at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas, working toward a degree in biochemistry with a minor in biology. I have one year of experience tutoring college students in biology and chemistry in a walk-in tutoring center called the AARC. I have also coached an inner-city youth soccer team, so I have experience with teaching younger kids in a sometimes challenging setting. My personal teaching philosophy includes helping students develop skills that they can use in their future academic endeavors, as well as assisting them with the class they're currently struggling in.
