Certified Tutor

A graduate of Washington & Lee University, the Medical University of South Carolina, and the Rutgers Business School, I hold a BA in Biology and Geology, a PhD in Molecular Biology, and an MBA in Pharmaceutical Management and Finance. As a professor and scientist, I have held faculty positions at the Medical University of South Carolina, Medical College of Georgia, and most recently, the New York University School of Medicine. An active writer, I have published nearly two dozen peer reviewed articles in medical and social science journals as well as scientific textbooks, manuals, and two full-length novels. Having founded a chapter of the international social responsibility organization "Net Impact" at the Rutgers Business School, I continue my involvement at the business school as student outreach chair on the alumni board. With an interest in the role of social capital in the non-profit/for-profit interface, I am currently involved in several projects in the technology transfer and financial services sectors as well as an executive student at the Harvard Kennedy School in the study of nonprofit strategy.
