I am a second year dental student at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. I received my Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of Houston in May 2011, and it was at this campus where I engaged in my first tutoring experience. At Learning Support Services, my employer, I provided weekly instruction to fellow UH undergraduates during the Fall 2010 and Spring 2011 academic semesters. The subjects I tutored ranged from college level science courses to advanced mathematics. In my opinion, the most rewarding aspect of tutoring is when I am able to convey a particularly challenging question to a student. I do this by approaching concepts from multiple perspectives and breaking things down into layman's terms. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, weight lifting, and spending time with my family. I really look forward to meeting all my prospective tutees!
