The student and I worked on vectors and polar coordinates today. He understands these concepts and handles the questions that we worked on very well.

We covered the mechanics of motion with friction on a plane and on a flat surface with pulleys and weights. The student worked problems with constant velocity (no acceleration and sum of forces = 0) and problems with acceleration. We also worked real world problems with vehicles pulling trailers with wind resistance with increasing speed, constant speed and deceleration.

We reviewed using input/output tables to create, analyze and explain graphs. We then did test prep for the standardized test.
