We've had the BEST experience with VT! Our tutor has helped my middle schoolers math grades come up from a D to an A for our 8th grader and from a D to a B for my 6th grader. I'm beyond pleased with how she connected with my boys.

We reviewed for the student's final exam today. We covered more monetary policy and also reviewed some older topics such as inflation, real vs nominal GDP, and comparative advantage. She still has some difficulty with monetary policy but her comprehension is much better than before. We were able to finish one of her review packets together and skim over her study guide.

Final placement test subject test prep lesson. We covered both literature and math I, which she will take on Saturday. In lit she did better on the poetry, which she had struggled on previously, only missing a few questions dealing with symbolic and metaphorical language. In math I she is doing better with creative problem solving. Overall she is much better prepared for these two tests than when we began.
