MS Candidate Exercise Physiology, University of Kentucky
BA Exercise Physiology & Public Health Sciences, Hamline University
Hello! My name is Ali Eastman and
I am a current graduate teaching assistant at the University of Kentucky. My research at Kentucky is focused on injury mitigation in firefighters. I have undergraduate and graduate course work in anatomy and physiology, exercise physiology, performance analytics, and research methods. I have previous undergraduate course work in intro biology, algebra-based physics, genetics, and cell biology. In addition, I have experience in scientific writing as well as grant writing.
My teaching philosophy is focusing in on overreaching concepts and then peeling back the layers of the material. I am a strong believer in meeting the student where they are at academically and adapting to their learning style.
