I am currently a rising junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison working towards a B.S. in Mathematics. I have been a tutor for almost two years and can tutor elementary, middle, and high school math along with any Calculus course. I have also had experience tutoring middle school ELA and feel confident in tutoring elementary school, high school and college ELA, reading, and writing as well. Though I tutor a wide array of topics, I love tutoring math especially because it brings me so much joy when a student finally understands something that can be so difficult and I can see how proud they are of themselves. Hence, instead of just lecturing at the student, I prefer to guide him/her to understand the material by asking questions to encourage the student to think critically and creatively. I firmly believe that every student has the potential to succeed and I want to help as many students as I can to achieve that success.
