Teaching has been my passion, ever since I met my 1st grade teacher. She was so patient and had all the time in the world to listen to our whimsical fantasies. I always remember her and how much comfort she gave me when I was feeling lonely being the new kid in class or when I didn't understand a new math concept. Being ever so grateful to her, I know of no better way to continue her impact of compassion than by taking the opportunity to help children, in whose shoes I once was in. To me, teaching is not just a profession. It's an art of the heart.
My name is Muktha. Currently I am a Junior in a combined medical program in Texas. It is my dream to become a teaching physician, combining the two loves of my life-teaching and medicine!
My teaching style is one where the student's needs are central. My aim is to make the student comfortable with any subject he/she may struggle with. Being a perfectionist, I was once in that position too and know the value of having a patient guide and mentor. I thank Varsity for this opportunity and look forward to working with many budding minds!
