I'm a graduate student and teacher passionate about three things: music, education, and technology. I'm lifelong student endeavored in taking every opportunity to learn.
I have degrees in Music Theory and Musicology from the University of The Andes (Bogotá, Colombia) and The University of Texas at Austin, and I am a Ph.D. candidate in musicology at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
I have been fortunate to teach children, young adults, as well as senior citizens in diverse settings from basic to college levels, and know that anyone can learn anything when one discovers how. I believe that teaching is accompanying someone on their path to discovering how to learn; teaching is another form of learning.
