About Me

I am a graduate of Salem State University, Salem, MA with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, majoring in Math/Science. I also have a Master of Education degree from Salem State, with a focus on School Administration. My personal interests include playing golf, reading, biking and vacationing in Maine. I have over 10 years experience teaching public school mathematics at the 7th and 8th grade level. I also have over 15 years of Information Technology experience, working for a large manufacturing company. My various responsibilities included programming, software quality assurance, and implementing an automated inventory control system. I have taught computer programming at the community college level. Most recently, I have spent the last several years within the Investment Management area of a prominent Boston private bank. I was responsible for operations support and executive reporting. My subject areas of expertise are General Math, Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Access. After spending several years in the private sector, I knew I would eventually return to assisting students grasp difficult concepts and help them feel confident with themselves.
