About Me

I'm a graduate of Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York, currently working with multiple firms as a professional tutor. I received my Bachelor of Arts with concentrations in theatre and computer science, and I was lucky enough to study a wide array of subjects in addition to my concentrations. From applied physics to linguistics to sociology, I've dipped my toes into subjects across the board. In high school and college I enjoyed helping my classmates with assignments and projects to help them achieve their academic goals, and through that I discovered my love for tutoring. I believe in developing a personal approach to help students grow to their fullest. Striving to conquer that one topic or finish this one essay allows students to grow academically while feeling like they can really succeed in achieving tangible goals. Though I'm interested in a broad range of subjects, I especially enjoy English and Literature. In particular, I have a lot of fun helping students develop the specialized skills necessary for success on the SAT. Outside of academics, I spend my time reading, acting, hiking, and occasionally scuba diving.
